2nd March Scout Group

2nd March Cub Scouts has two sections, Saxons and Romans.  These meet at the same venue on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


Saxons meet on a Thursday during term time and hope to carry out activities during school holidays - parents will be notified of these prior to the event, with relevent permission slips.

Please note:

Saxons will be moving to Monday Nights, we are still in talks with the other users of the Hall, we expect to be moving the first week after the Easter Holidays 2012.  We will keep parents and interested parties updated!  For more information please contact Claire or Phil and we will endeavor to assist.

And a Big Hearted supply of Occasional Helpers and Sectional Supporters.

If you would like to add your name to our growing list of volunteers then please speak to Claire, the more helpers we have the less time everyone has to chip in and the bigger our family gets.

2nd March Cub Scouts has begun to incorporate the 'Every Child Matters' into our curriculum, ensuring that not only are the activities well balanced, they meet the Every Child Matters Curriculum.  We are dedicated to the fact that our Cub activities will achieve the following wherever possible.
